09 December 2011: A large section of UNCC fans cheered their team on througout the game. The Creighton University Bluejays played the University of North Carolina Charlotte 49ers to a 0-0 overtime tie, the 49ers won the penalty shootout 4-1 to advance at Regions Park in Hoover, Alabama in an NCAA Division I Men's Soccer College Cup semifinal game.
