28 May 2006: Carolina's Cory Stillman (61) is mobbed by teammates after his goal at 8:46 of overtime won the game. The Carolina Hurricanes defeated the Buffalo Sabres 4-3 in sudden death overtime at the RBC Center in Raleigh, North Carolina in the fifth game of their best of seven National Hockey League Eastern Conference Finals playoff series. Carolina took a three games to two lead in the series.
